Artists Damtew Ayele is seriously ill and hospitalized in Oslo. Damtew has lived in Norway for the last 6 or 7 years and contributed tirelessly for justice and democracy with other freedom loving Ethiopians. Due to problems associated with the residence permit and inadequate income to support his family, he was forced to live alone without seeing his children and wife for so long.

Now he has a serious health problem which may cost him his life although it is God who knows what will happen.
As you see from the attached flayer, the Ethiopian community in Norway has started an international campaign and collecting money to support him while he is alive and his family which suffered very much in his absence.

We therefore beg you to do whatever you can in a way you seem is appropriate.
